Approve 2-0 pending Detroit Acceptance This is really bad, but I'm not one for vetoing generally...

Pending Detroit acceptance, I am nonetheless abstaining from an approval/rejection vote on this trade. I feel this trade is so heavily in Detroit's favor that I am unable to understand why Jacksonville made this trade.

I did it because I couldn't afford both picks and I was in need of a CB

I will be vetoing this deal, this is over the limit for these picks being worth less. This is worse than trade rape.
(2-1) even though no votes should have been cast

After seeing Jacksonville's explanation, it is my opinion that he has grossly underestimated the value of the picks he is trading away, when compared to the overall value of the CB he is receiving. This trade is far too one-sided to be allowed to stand. I am changing my vote from an abstention to a rejection.
(2-2)

I had 2013 picks on my trade block for over a month and no one would bite until I really started to dig. There is clearly a "buyers market" for 2013 draft picks and all logic can go out the window. If you disagree, step up and make an offer. Can't blame a guy for wanting something as opposed to losing his picks altogether.

If you disagree, step up and make an offer. Can't blame a guy for wanting something as opposed to losing his picks altogether. It is true that the "buyer's market" has altered the value of picks. However, that does not change the fact that this trade is ridiculously one-sided - even with the altered value factored in - and that's why I voted to reject it after giving Jacksonville the chance to state his case. I'm sorry you had a hard time trading your picks. But pointing that out and challenging TABs to "step up" and make trade offers of their own does not change the one-sided nature of this particular trade. One team has given up far too much.

Sorry - don't buy that theory in this case. So if I'm underwater on my house should I take a short sale and sell it? Or should I lose it because I can't afford it.
The market has changed. And our perception of "value" or "worth it" is out the window. I was vocal about this when I was beating the drum on adjusting something so we could keep The draft picks intact and retaining their value.
But since we're past that chapter....all bets are off. Its simple supply and demand.

I'm not usually one to reject trades, but after hearing what OAK has put here and in the trade discussion post, I feel that my mind has been changed and that for the good of the franchise, and the league, my vote will change to Rejection (1-3) VETOED
Due to the fact that this years CB class is deep aNd you can get a good one at 1.27
